Gold and Peach First Birthday Party

This pretty gold and peach themed first birthday party was submitted by one of our sweet customers, Ibby. I love the warm tons of gold, peach, chocolate brown and ivory. This is such a great theme for a first birthday because it’s soft yet fun and playful. Gold is such a popular trend for all types of parties. I love seeing how it can really blend well with any colour palette for many different types of occasions.

Here is what Ibby had to say about her daughter’s first birthday party:

I wanted to make this party very special since it was Reem’s first birthday. I’m in love with the peach and gold colour scheme and I knew I wanted to use this palette for my daughter. For the backdrop I created paper fans made out of shinny cream and gold scrap-booking paper. They were easy and fun to make. The hand print around the vase was a personal touch. It ended up in her memory box right after the party and it was made out of flour salt and water. Since I bake cakes, I made Reem this beautiful sparkly gold cake with a peach gum paste flower. The peach naked cake under the glass dome was my first try and turned out delicious! I made the cutest cupcakes in shiny golden cupcake wrappers and the macarons were purchased from Costco. I also made peach cake pops with edible shimmer gold. I had fun styling and planning this party. Each element of the party was special in its own way and this celebration was such a beautiful event that I won’t soon forget. It was certainly fit for my beautiful princess Reem!
